Marlins Stadium - Big opening April 4th!
Miami, United States
Carlos Cruz-Diez inaugurates his monumental artwork of architectural integration for the Miami Marlins ballpark. The work, consists of three walkways with a total area of 1672 m2, of a Double-frequency Chromatic Induction which can be appreciated by both spectators and all those who wander through the gardens adjacent to the stadium.
The purpose of the artist is to engage the public to experience color as a phenomenon, subject to infinite and subtle variations (such as changing weather conditions and the displacement of the observer), while achieving it through his long timed desire to bring art to public spaces for the enjoyment of all.
