Couleur et Géométrie, Actualité de l’Art Construit Européen
Centre d’Art Contemporain Frank Popper
Date:
06 August - 06 November 2011
Venue:
2 Place du Prieuré, 71110 Marcigny, France

This exhibition presents the latest works of fifty artists (painters and sculptors) of 13 different nationalities, all of which are part of the important geometric movement born in the early 20th century, art construit, also known as concrete art.

Through different forms, materials and techniques, these new works show that this concept is still alive and varied, and offers a very rich panorama of concrete art in Europe. This is the fifth (and last) step of an european tour showing the exhibition in Sens (France), Halle, Nuremberg (Germany) and Kielce (Poland).
