From February 17 to May 20, 2011, La Maison Rouge, Fondation Antoine de Galbert will host the first large international exhibition dedicated to the history of neon in art from 1950 to present days. Curated by David Rosenberg, the exhibition features more than one hundred historic unseen works.
A Chromosaturation by Carlos Cruz-Diez will be displayed between works by Lucio Fontana, François Morellet, Bruce Nauman, Stephen Antonakos, Maurizio Nannucci, Mario Merz, Jason Rhoades, Jeppe Hein, Alfredo Jaar, Claude Lévêque and Miri Segal, amongst other artists who use neon as part of their artworks.
