The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Buenos Aires (MACBA) exhibits the show Cruz-Diez en blanco y negro. Fotografías 1942–1986, from Mai 10th to July 13th, 2014.

In his ninety years old and after six decades of researches and proposals on color, Carlos Cruz-Diez unveils his black and white photographic work. These photographies shows the different paths the artist traveled across from the very first time in his life in art, in the 1940s, to his experiences in Europe in the 1950s and 1960s,  revealing a hitherto unknown facet of one of the leading representatives of contemporary art and relevant figure of kinetic art.

His photographs pass from a critical to a purely aesthetic communication. These images by Cruz-Diez, captured in black and white, represent a new perspective on the artist's visual poetics.
