Concrete Matters

The exhibition "Concrete Matters" presents some 70 works from the Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Collection made between the 1930s and the 1970s in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Venezuela. This exhibition highlights concretism – a period when the boundaries of art were being examined in the mid-20th century in Latin America.

Two major artworks by Carlos Cruz-Diez take part in the show. From left to right, Physichromie 21, Paris 1960 and Proyecto para un muro exterior, Caracas 1954-1965.
